Graphic Guidelines
Rules for webset designs using DIY Design Host DIY Site Builder
|
|
Buttons
|
No more than 140 pixels wide, preferably in GIF format. The following buttons are recommended for use with our DIY Design Host DIY Site Builder:
Home, contact us, links, plugboard, view cart, search, vote for me, about us, new items, affiliate program, wholesale, policies, blank button for future use. Your category buttons should also be in the same size as the above buttons.
We recommend a width of 100 pixels and a height of 35 to 50 pixels for the following system buttons if you do not wish to use the supplied system images, however you can view these and decide the desired size: accounting, add address, address book, banners, start billing, build link, confirm, click through report, sales report, archive, back, buy now, change address, checkout, confirm order, continue, continue shopping, create account, delete, description, downgrade, download, edit account, enlarge, order history, add to cart, sign in, notifications, quantity & price, redeem, remove notifications, confirm, reviews, select, send, shipping options, status, update, upgrade, wish list, move to cart, remove, write review, in stock, more info, sold out, edit, view.
Variations on the button names are permissible, but should represent the same as the original.
A graphic bullet approximately 11x14 pixels is also recommended for the system tell a friend button. |

Topper
|
Can be named anything, and is 800 x 100 pixels. Template can be modified for other sizes. A repeating topper is recommended for wide layouts. It can be animated if desired. |

Background Layers
|
Standard three backgrounds, usually represented as main, top and middle, but can be named anything. |
|
Logo
|
Main logo, can be animated, and should be no wider than 450 pixels.
The DIY Design Host Builder also offers templates that utilize a smaller logo, which measures 129x100 pixels. Both should be supplied in the webset graphics. |
